Emmerdale fans were delighted on Tuesday when Cain and Moira Dingle (Jeff Hordley and Natalie J Robb) got back together.
The couple’s marriage had hit the rocks after Moira discovered Cain had cheated on her with his sister-in-law Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Cain and Ruby slept together last year just as Moira was in surgery having a brain tumour removed.
On Tuesday, Moira finally received the all-clear following her treatment and got drunk in The Woolpack as she lamented the end of her marriage to Cain.
But she was then given some food for thought from her enemy Ruby, which prompted her to tell herhusband she wanted to give things another go.
One fan wrote on X: ‘Emmerdale I love you for not breaking them up. They are soulmates.’
Another said: ‘At last good news! Moira and Cain are back on!’
‘Everything is just so right when Cain and Moira are back together,’ a third agreed.

Another fan wrote: ‘Please leave Cain and Moira alone now, thank you. They need each other.’
‘Thank you…for not splitting up Cain & Moira! That has made my night,’ said another.
However, it seems the couple’s reunion will not be similarly well received by everyone in the village.
In tonight’s episode, which is already streaming on ITVX, Cain suffers a setback when Moira’s son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) learns they are back together…

Actress Natalie J Robb, who has played Moira since 2009, previously revealed how she’d pleaded with bosses to not split Moira and Cain up.
She told Metro: ‘I think it’s really important that they stay together. I had this chat with [producer] Iain MacLeod, we were talking about marriage and I said “Marriages go through things – there’s temptation, there’s things that can happen.”

‘If everybody just gave up after the first hurdle in a marriage, people would just not get married now.’
Sharing the secret to their long-standing marriage, Natalie continued: ‘She’ll stand up to Cain when she needs to, that’s the main thing, she always sniffs it out when she knows there’s something not right.
‘I just think that Moira and Cain have a great chemistry on screen.’
