Strictly Come Dancing fans have shared messages of condolence for professional Dianne Buswell after she announced the death of her ‘special’ grandma.
In a post shared on Instagram, the dancer – who won the latest series with comedian Chris McCausland – expressed how ‘grateful’ she was ‘to say goodbye’.
‘Rest in peace nan,’ she penned while sharing a montage of clips of them both.
‘Love you very much ❤️ I’m so grateful I was home to say goodbye to such a special lady in my life ❤️ now go be with pop he has been patiently waiting for you.’
Strictly stars including Tasha Ghouri and Stacey Dooley shared their support for Dianne in the comments, with the former writing in a heartfelt comment: ‘Sending so much love to you xx.’
Karen Jones added: ‘Dianne 😢so sorry to read your sad news sending love to you and your lovely family. ❤️X.’

Dianne documented her trip back to her home country last month having spent a short but beautiful break in South Africa with her boyfriend and former Strictly finalist Joe Sugg for their friends’ wedding.
The ballroom and Latin pro was seen starting in Perth before heading to Brisbane to be with her brother and her niece and nephew, and has since been seen lapping up the quality time with all her family, including her parents Mark and Rina.
At the beginning of the year Chris and Dianne revealed their next big project after winning the latest series.
Chris was unable to take part in the Strictly live tour with Dianne as he was fronting his stand-up tour, the pair announced they are instead working on something else together.

Sharing a series of clips from the daily updates they posted during their time training for Strictly, Dianne wrote: ‘Want more of this nonsense? Chris and Dianne are going to be hooking up for a weekly publicly available catch up, otherwise known as a PODCAST.
