There’s a dramatic week ahead on Coronation Street next week, as one resident is on the receiving end of a bullet.
Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) is set to make his last stand as he takes sister Carla Connor (Alison King) hostage in No.1.
Having been summoned by Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), could Carla be set to meet her maker at the hands of her brother, or will he take the opportunity to run while he still can?
And when Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) catches wind of the unfolding hostage situation, will she be led by her head or her heart?
Will Rob get his comeuppance once and for all, or is it too late as the gunshot rings out?

Elsewhere, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is thrilled when she comes into some money, but when she offers to pay off part of her debt to Carla, the factory boss refuses anything less than the full amount.
Things only get worse for horrified Jenny when history repeats itself as Bertie Osbourne wanders off while in her care and is later found in Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) hot tub.
Will he be okay?
Dee-Dee Bailey’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) pains continue this week while she is out for lunch with younger brother James (Jason Callender), and she soon takes herself off to the hospital.
At the hospital, she is assured that it is just false labour pains and the baby isn’t ready to come yet.

Meanwhile, Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) is eager to set Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) up with hunky scaffolder Theo, but Todd is left confused when he’s knocked back, with Theo insisting he isn’t gay.
However, his disappointment later dissipates when he starts talking to Theo on a dating app…
With all that and more still to come on the cobbles, it’s certainly going to be a week to watch!
