
A man has been charged with murder after two pensioners were found stabbed to death in the middle of the street.
Sidy Fall, 75, and Norman Scott, 68, were found seriously injured on Great Southern Street in Moss Side, Greater Manchester, in November.
They both died at the scene, with police confirming today Mouhamadou Fall, 23, has been charged with murder over their deaths.
Greater Manchester Police said: ‘We have secured a murder charge following an investigation into the deaths of two men in the Moss Side area of Manchester in 2024.
‘Mouhamadou Fall, of Milverton Road, Manchester, has been charged in connection with the deaths of Norman Scott, 68, and Sidy Fall, 75.

‘Emergency services quickly responded after the two men were injured on Great Southern Street on 17 November 2024; however, both men died at the scene and a murder investigation was launched by our Major Incident Team.
‘The families of the victims continue to be supported by specially trained officers and continue to ask for privacy at this extremely difficult time for them.’
At the time of the murders, Chief Superintendent David Meeney said: ‘Two lives have been lost in our community, and our thoughts go to their families who have lost a loved one today.
‘We are treating this as an isolated incident with no threat to the wider public.’
