A knifeman randomly attacked at least four passerbys during a terrifying early-morning rampage in Birmingham, say police.
Two people were taken to hospital and a suspect was arrested after the assault in the Kingstanding area of the city at around 6.30am on Saturday.
CCTV footage shows a man walking along the pavement before attacking an apparent stranger walking in the opposite direction.
The knifeman then walks away while the victim runs down the road.
A 32-year-old man remains in custody, as detectives continue to investigate the incident.
None of the four attacked were seriously hurt, according to West Midlands Police.
The force believe there may have been a fifth victim and have appealed to the man to come forward so they can make sure he’s okay.
They are also appealing to anyone who may have more information on the attack to get in touch.
