Two people have died and two others have suffered serious injuries after a two-car crash in Essex.
Police and ambulance crews were called just after 3am on Sunday morning after the fatal smash involving a blue BMW and a silver vehicle on the B1007 Stock Road, by junction 16 of the A12.
A male driver of one of the cars, in his 30s, as well as male passenger of the other car, in his fifties, died.
Two other men were taken to hospital with serious injuries, although they are not believed to be life-threatening.

Images taken from the scene show the two damaged cars strewn across the Chelmsford roundabout, leaving the road closed all day.

Debris from the collision was scattered across the road as officers were at the scene piecing together what happened.
They said they are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the blue BMW 3 series car in the early hours of March 23.
Inspector James Freeman of Essex Police said: ‘Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the two people who died today.
‘We are working hard to establish what led up to this collision and would urge anyone with information to contact us.’
