Part of the M11 was closed for hours after a lorry crashed through the barrier in Essex.
Long traffic delays were building on the M11 northbound after the crash near Stansted Airport this morning.
All lanes were closed on the northbound carriageway after the lorry breached the barrier between junction J8 (Stansted Airport) and J10 (Duxford). The motorway has since reopened.
Footage shows the truck leaning on its left side and almost tipped over into the ditch.
Drivers faced around 20-minute delays approaching J8 and three miles of congestion.

Motorists should leave extra time for their journeys, the police said following the crash shortly before 6am this morning.

National Highways said the ‘recovery and barrier repair looks complicated’ and there is no estimate of re-opening.
Passengers heading to Stansted can still get there from J8, but delays are building on the northbound approach, it said.
Diversions have been put in place through A120 and drivers should follow the route marked with the solid circle symbol on local road signs.
