A 19-year-old accused of murdering his father and injuring two others has been pictured for the first time ahead of his court appearance.
Fabio Botros has been charged with murder and attempted murder after emergency services were called to a house in Hartfield Avenue, Brighton, East Sussex, at 7.30 am on Tuesday following reports of ‘loud shouting and screaming’ and a male going ‘berserk’ inside.
Today, Fabio Batros appeared before his hearing at Lewes Crown Court in a grey outfit.
They found a 57-year-old man, named by police as Emad Samir Botros Farag, with ‘significant injuries’ and he was declared dead there shortly after.
A woman and boy were also rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Local business Sonia Campos Inner Healing told Metro: ‘I heard the road was blocked this morning due to an incident, but I haven’t seen or heard anything.’
A neighbour who was getting ready for college at the time of the incident described hearing ‘all this loud shouting and screaming’.

He told MailOnline: ‘I couldn’t hear what was being said, but it was loud.’
Another neighbour told The Sun: ‘I heard a child screaming: “No, no. Stop! Help! Help!” and then shouts of “Call the police, call the police”’.’
A third resident said: ‘I heard a young man had gone berserk in the house early this morning. By the time police arrived it was all over and he was arrested.’
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cullimore said: ‘This was a shocking and tragic incident, and our thoughts are with those affected and their loved ones.
‘Through our initial enquiries, it has been established that the victims and defendant are known to one another, and that the weapons involved are believed to be two knives and a hammer.

‘We recognise the impact this incident has also had on the local community, and we want to reassure members of the public that charges have now been secured and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation.

Divisional commander Chief Superintendent Rachel Carr said earlier: ‘Following an emergency call to police, an immediate response was sent to Hartfield Avenue, where sadly, a man was found deceased, and a woman and child were found seriously injured.
‘A suspect is in custody and a fast-moving investigation is underway to establish exactly what happened and why.
‘This is a tragic incident and we understand it will cause shock and alarm among the local community, however there is not believed to be a wider threat to the public at this time.’
