Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in west London in what has been described as an ‘awful’ incident.
Keiron Charles, 17, was pronounced dead near East Acton Tube station on Erconwald Street at about 1.10pm on Saturday.
Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene alongside paramedics, but nothing could be done to save him.
Two 16-year-olds have now been charged on suspicion of murder.

The two suspects, who have not been named because of their age, are due to appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court on Monday.

Detective chief inspector Alex Gammampila said Keiron had ‘his whole life ahead of him’ as he appealed yesterday for any information that may help the case.
‘This is an awful incident in which a teenager has lost his life,’ he said in a statement.
‘The thoughts of everyone in the Met remain with Keiron’s family and loved ones as they begin to come to terms with their tragic loss.’
