US artist Azealia Banks let fans know she wouldn’t be putting up with any antics as she walked off stage mid-song.
The 33-year-old singer was performing at Muffathalle in Munich, Germany, when an audience member lobbed a plastic cup at her, which hit her on the head.
She had been singing her hit song 212 at the time but abruptly stopped and looked disapprovingly into the crowd.
Azealia then shrugs, throws up a peace sign and walks off the stage as the crowd slowly stops singing along, realising what has happened.
It’s thought the cup was thrown in response to Azealia being excessively late, an issue which also plagued Sean Paul’s recent gig.
Jamila Gebhard, who posted the video, said the concert was due to start at 8pm, but Azealia was three hours late and took to the stage at 11pm.

Fans were incredibly supportive of Azealia cutting things short, even if she was late, dubbing the audience member’s behaviour as unacceptable.
‘Good for her,’ wrote VictorTheCutie on Reddit. ‘That’s exactly what performers should do. She’s setting a precedent.
‘Want to get your money’s worth at a show? Don’t act like a s**thead, and don’t go with s**theads.’
Beulahbeulah added: ‘This is honestly the least reactive reaction Banks has ever had. But because of her history people feel so comfortable unfairly criticizing her every action even when it’s clearly justified like this.’
‘I mean, yeah. What do people expect? If someone threw a cup at me at work, I’d stop working too,’ said badcluesbears.

‘Stop throwing things on stage, it’s deranged,’ added Federal_Street_8895 as FaithlessnessLegal11 shared: ‘I wouldn’t stand on a stage if people were throwing s**t at me.’
In 2023, there was a spate of singers being hit with objects, sparking huge discourse over what is acceptable to throw.
Bebe Rexha was left with a black eye after being struck in the face by a fan’s phone during a show in June 2023.
The I’m A Mess singer has repeatedly had to call out fans for their behaviour, kicking 10 people out of a concert last year.
She was then pelted with objects while performing on stage in Norway in July, threatening the offending gig-goers with legal action.

Bebe wasn’t the only one though as Cardi B hurled a microphone back at the audience member who threw a drink at her.
Old school punk icon Johnny Rotten, real name John Lyndon, confessed to Metro that years ago he was hit in the face with a billiard ball.
‘That wasn’t very pleasant – for the ball,’ he joked and added: ‘But boys and girls, be sensible. You can seriously hurt someone here.’
