
A woman has died after she and two others were hit by a car outside a leisure park in West Sussex.
The 25-year-old’s younger sister, 12, and their cousin, a 19-year-old woman, survived the crash on London Road in Crawley around 8.36pm on Saturday.
Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries. They are understood to be from the local area. The car involved was a grey BMW 3 Series.
A 33-year-old man from Crawley was arrested at the scene.
He is being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
The leisure park is home to a Cineworld, Hollywood Bowl, and restaurants including Bella Italia, Five Guys, McDonald’s and Nando’s.

‘I’d like to reassure the community that we swiftly arrested a suspect in connection with this tragic incident, and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances.
‘The collision occurred in London Road, Crawley, immediately outside the leisure park.
‘This is a well populated area and we’re urging anyone who saw what happened or captured any relevant mobile, dash cam or CCTV footage to please come forward.’
