BNPS.co.uk (01202 558833) Pic: JamesDoran-Webb/BNPS ****Please use full byline**** Three horses galloping on Cebu beach, Philippines with James Doran-Webb riding one of them. These majestic horses galloping along a white sand beach may look real - but in fact they're made from thousands of pieces of driftwood salvaged from beach. The life-size sculptures are the work of British master craftsman James Doran-Webb and took a painstaking six months to assemble. They stand at around 6ft tall - or 16 hands in horse terms - and each is made from 400 pieces of driftwood of varying sizes built around a stainless steel skeleton. They weigh half a tonne each once complete and can take the weight of five people. James cleverly makes them with moveable limbs so they can be arranged into lifelike poses. The intricate trio of horses were constructed for the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, a nature park similar to Cornwall's Eden project.
