Josie Copson joined Metro in 2023 as Senior TV Reporter before moving into the role of Senior Features Writer. She has a decade of journalism experience, which has taken her everywhere from celebrity weddings to parliamentary events. The award-winning journalist is interested in telling people's stories, whether that’s a TV star, an activist or a local hero. Her current job means she’s able to cover a wide variety of topics, including lifestyle, political subjects, health, entertainment, and cultural trends. She is particularly passionate about diversity, women’s issues and whatever is currently being analysed in WhatsApp group chats across the country. Alongside Metro, she has written for Cosmopolitan and OK!, and has spoken on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
