Faheem Ahmed shared CCTV images of the customers who claimed they did not like the food after they dined at Jumeira Indian Restaurant in Staplehurst, Kent [March 16th]. A motorbike rider has tragically died following a serious crash on the M2 in Kent this afternoon. The collision occurred between Junction 3 (Chatham) and Junction 4 (Hempstead), resulting in the closure of the motorway in both directions for a short time the London bound carriageway has since reopened. The coastbound Carriage will remain closed until the early hours of???? Monday morning. Kent Police have launched a full forensic collision investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The M2 coastbound carriageway remains closed to assist with the ongoing investigation. Play Video Arrest made following fire in Canterbury An arrest has been made following a fire in Canterbury on Monday 2 December 2024. Kent Police patrols attended the city centre at around 8.45pm that evening after a fire was reported at a property in Guildhall Street. Officers closed nearby roads and some residents were evacuated from adjacent properties while Kent Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze. On Tuesday 3 December, a 15 year old boy from the local area attended Canterbury police station and was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of arson. He remains in custody while enquiries continue. Police and fire crews remain at the scene of the fire and continue to work to make the area safe. Detectives are appealing for information regarding the incident, and would like to thank those who have already come forward and spoken to officers. Detectives searching for a man missing from Tunbridge Wells are now treating his disappearance as a murder investigation. Enquires to locate 54-year-old Wayne Woodgate have led to the recovery of a body in East Sussex and the arrest of a suspect. Mr Woodgate had been reported missing on Thursday 17 October 2024. An appeal to help find him was previously issued by Kent Police, following a report he was last seen entering a van in Goods Station Road. On Wednesday 23 October, officers attended a rural location in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, where a body was located. Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of Mr Woodgate have been informed. A 59-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. To assist the investigation, police are appealing for dashcam footage from motorists who may have recently travelled on the A268 between Peasmarsh and Four Oaks. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber said: ???We are specifically requesting any dashcam for journeys made between 5.15pm and 5.45pm on Thursday 17 October, and between 8.15am and 8.45am on Sunday 20 October. Footage, as well as CCTV and doorbell camera images can be uploaded though the Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) using this online link.???
