An 11-year-old girl who entered the River Thames has been named as Kaliyah Coa. Police were alerted at 13:23hrs on Monday, 31 March after Kaliyah, who had been playing during a school inset day, entered the water near Barge House Causeway, E16. Emergency service crews attended the scene within minutes and conducted a large-scale search in an effort to locate her.

A major emergency response is underway in central London after a man was reported to be on the roof of the New Zealand High Commission in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services were called to New Zealand House, near Trafalgar Square, shortly after 3.30am on Friday following reports of a man at height. Man On Roof Of New Zealand Embassy Triggers Major Emergency Response In Central London Specialist Crews Deployed The Metropolitan Police responded quickly to the alert, deploying specialist rope-trained officers, while London Fire Brigade attended with multiple crews, including an aerial ladder platform to assist in accessing the roof safely. Police were called immediately as the individual was seen moving across the roof of the embassy building.
