Man Suffers Facial Burns After Alleged Petrol Attack in South Norwood A man has been hospitalized with facial burns after an alleged petrol attack in South Norwood on Thursday, February 13. Attack in Albert Road Police were called at 2:45 PM following reports that petrol had been thrown in a man's face and set alight on Albert Road, South Norwood. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, responded to the scene, where they treated a 37-year-old man for burn injuries before rushing him to the hospital. Victim’s Condition and Arrest The victim’s injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. A 42-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and remains in police custody as investigations continue. Ongoing Investigation Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances leading to the incident.
