Story from Jam Press (Pink Studio Builders) Pictured: Inside the studio flat. Bizarre studio flat with bunk beds for up to TEN builders to live in leaves home hunters baffled A bizarre studio flat full of pink bunk beds for up to TEN builders to live in has left home hunters baffled. The seafront pad is listed as only having one bedroom. There is also just one bathroom for them to share. But it costs an eye-watering ??1,295 a month to rent. The??flat, in Brighton, is dubbed as ???perfect??? for ???builders??? or ???students.??? Decorated with garish pink rose wallpaper, rainbows, pastelle bed coverings and fake ivy the property offers immediate move in. Potential tenants are allowed to move in to the property, equipped bizarrely with astroturf flooring, the day of viewing. The private landlord offers guaranteed acceptance to desperate house hunters with no credit check and a low deposit. Describing the property as perfect for ???builders, contractors, students and big families relocating??? the landlord charges a ??35 fee for same day move-ins. House hunters would be forced to share the small space with up to nine other tenants with only one bathroom between them all. The property boasts four bunk beds which renters would presumably be expected to share with other tenants. They would also be expected to share the single bathroom and a miniature kitchenette. The cramped space leaves little room for manoeuvring with the bunk beds, sofa and TV taking up any excess space. The landlord's listing on OpenRent reads: ???Themed extra large studio room with kitchenette, private bathroom, microwave, hob, 10 separate beds. ???Maximum tenants 10.??? ???Perfect for builders, contractors, students, large groups and big families relocating.??? Potential renters were left baffled by it, as reported by??Luxury Property News. One said: ???All these builders love pink beds and rainbows. ???I imagine if they did stay there it would be the source of a monumental p*ss

HOLD FOR US NEWS Story from Jam Press (Smallest Tiny House) Pictured: Building process of Levi Kelly's trailer home. Man builds 'world's smallest tiny home' measuring just 19.46 sq ft with functional hot water, toilet and kitchen A man has built the ???world's smallest tiny home' that measures just 19.46 sq ft. Levi Kelly decided to build the minuscule property???????which has everything a normal-sized house would ??? in a bid to win a Guinness World Record. The 27-year-old has included seating, a bed, kitchen, hot water, a toilet, shower and air conditioning. Levi has also shared the clip of the unique build to YouTube, where it has 30,100 views so far. ???To get it to be so small while remaining functional, I added a folding bed and moveable toilet,??? the YouTuber, from West Virginia, US, told What's The Jam. ???As well as having the shower outside, to help with space. ???You have to be shorter than 5ft 10in to sleep straight inside.??? Levi has spent around ??3,824 ($5,000) on the project. He said: ???I had a small trailer already. ???Fixed it up and started with the framing just like a normal house. ???Exterior is cedar cladding and it is insulted. ???Then I used 2x3in studs to save a little space and weight.??? And inside is definitely an experience. He said: ???Everyone who walks in says ???wow???. ???People seem to be impressed that everything can fit in such a small space. ???Is it made to be lived in full-time, possibly. ???Would anyone want to? Probably not.??? Levi hopes to use the home to go on camping trips with his wife Savannah and their two children ?????aged three and nine months respectively. But there are a few things he would change. He said: ???If there was anything I???d change it would be the fold-down bed and ventilation. ???The space to get into the bed is pretty tight. ???Also, I forgot to add ventilation so the hot air gets trapped at the top. ???I would also make the bench fold out for a larger platform that could be used as a se

SpareRoom?s Founder is on the Hunt for a New Housemate Rupert Hunt is offering a room in his home in Spitalfields on a ?pay what you can afford? basis In a unique twist on modern renting Rupert Hunt, the founder of flatsharing website SpareRoom, is on the lookout for a new housemate to share his vibrant home in Spitalfields, East London. Hunt founded SpareRoom on the mantra that "living with the right people is better than living on your own,". Over the past decade he?s practiced what he preaches, welcoming 14 housemates into his home, ranging in age from 21 to 51, asking them to pay only what they can afford, with the results ranging from nothing to full market rate. Rupert?s offering an en-suite room that gives the new housemate almost an entire floor to themselves, in his beautifully restored 300-year-old Georgian townhouse. Shared spaces include a cosy lounge, a cinema room, a music room filled with instruments, a dining room, and a lovely garden perfect for leisurely evenings. He?s looking for a fellow creative spirit who loves cats, (as his beloved Boo is a key part of the household and loves company), appreciates home-cooked meals and enjoys quality time spent playing board games (Backgammon, anyone?). Importantly, Rupert is hoping to find someone who is easy-going and happy working from home. People interested in renting the room can view Rupert?s video ad and apply on SpareRoom.
