The film touches upon different areas of race and mental health - particularly Black men's mental health - so we're proud to be part of the conversation around that." "This wonderful project aligns with our ethos at Phoenix, a cinema run by the people for the people, we are a registered charity, a non-profit community cinema who always supports locals, let it be your resident baker, brewer, winemaker, independent filmmaker or a food project preparing meals weekly for people in need. Our institution's main goal is to find a path to a prosperous independent future. So we are very proud and honoured to get behind a film like Fifty-Four Days, that's not only representational filmmaking at its very best, but also tackles a subject beautifully that we need to have more discussions about."
